In a luxurious post-apocalyptic bunker, three polygamous widows plan to celebrate the life of their late husband Jacob, by ceremoniously feasting on his heart. As resources become scant, and as Jacob’s only son reaches toddlerhood, the widows’ strange self-imposed hierarchy begins to collapse under pressure. A post-apocalyptic love story and re-telling of Medea, exploring domestic power, the singularity, motherhood and companionship.
